The idea is that each round each player is given a character, they have to race against the clock to achieve higher vertical elevation than the previous player's character. Climbing is simple at first, but once the tower of bodies builds up, it becomes a mess to navigate. The game uses ragdoll physics, and you can control each limb of your character’s body with a different button.
Afros, party hats, and funky glasses are all things you can add to the characters to make the experience just that much better. There are various accessories and customization options available for the characters if you want to spice things up even more too. You could probably spend hours laughing at the silly characters alone without even playing the game. They’re weirdly muscular and their heads are practically rectangles which just adds to the silliness of the game. One of the funniest things about Mount Your Friends is the crazy character design.
So, if you want to make things difficult for the next person, you can angle your body in a weird way right at the last second and watch them struggle when their turn starts.
